We are hiring (IT Help Desk Coordinator) with following Responsibilities and qualifications :


DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Maintain IT Assets ,registering of assets, maintaining store, In Use & Disposal of Assets
  • Initiate IT incidents, escalate to appropriate parties and resolve incidents and follow up
  • Answer, evaluate, and prioritize incoming telephone, voicemail, e-mail, and in person requests for assistance from users experiencing technical problems
  • Act as link between end users and higher level support
  • Triage and resolve technical support needs via phone, email, voicemail, and in person at the IT walk-up desk or occasionally in faculty/staff offices, utilizing a Manage engine-ticketing tool for documenting all interactions. At times, there is very high call volume and heavy walk up traffic to support.
  • Create and send company critical email notifications while under time pressure, to inform the company community of unscheduled IT interruptions and planned maintenance for IT services.
  • Institute protocols for the use of IT across departments and projects
  • Provide continuous status information to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain licenses and upgrade schedules
  • Initiating IT Purchase requests and Purchase follow-up.
  • Co Ordinate with Procurement & Subcontract departments for obtaining Quotes .
  • Generating Summary reports

 


QUALIFICATION & KNOWLEDGE

  • Minimum of an Associate’s degree in Information Technology, or closely related field of study; BA degree referred
  • Certifications in A+, Microsoft, ITIL,
  • Knowledge on manage engine service desk or any of the ticketing tool.
  • Excellent PowerPoint, Excel, and written and visual communication skills.
  • Customer-service related experience (preferred)
  • Experience in network management and help desk support is Preferable
  • Solid knowledge of IT systems ,Software and applications
  • Understanding of TCP/IP protocols and LAN/WAN configuration

Senior Process Engineer

We are hiring (Senior Process Engineer)  :


Responsibilities

  • Carry out Process Engineering activities for Feasibility Studies, FEED and EPIC Projects for Onshore and Offshore, Oil and Gas production and upstream / downstream processing, Petrochemical, Chemical, Refinery, Safety and Environmental Projects.
  • Review and provide input to FEED Scope of Services and EPIC Scope of Work documents.
  • Prepare / review Process discipline deliverables and supervise Engineering and EPIC contractors’ works for all modification and engineering activities including P&ID development, PFD, Line List, Design Basis, Heat and Material Balance, Process Datasheets for Equipment and Instrumentation,  Cause and Effect Charts, Control System description and Process Calculations. Perform / review Process Simulations. Ensure compliance to HSE standards and international codes/standards. Review and approve technical documents.
  • Perform Process review and evaluation of Vendor submissions.
  • Interface with engineering team and provide technical guidance and expertise to ensure project requirements are complied with.
  • Participate in P&ID and Design Reviews, 3D Model Reviews, Constructability Reviews, Risk Assessment Studies and PHAs (Process Hazard Analysis) like HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, etc.
  • Review technical content of Non-Conformance Requests (NCRs), warranty claims, and concession requests received from Engineering and EPIC contractors and vendors, and provide recommendations.
  • Provide support to commissioning, testing and start-up activities.
  • Provide technical leadership, and ensure Clients’ Quality, Health, Safety, and Environment (QHSE) requirements are complied with.
  • Provide pre-bid engineering support for proposals.

 

Requirements:

  • Knowledge and experience in Process Engineering of Oil and Gas, Refinery and Petrochemical facilities.
  • Minimum five (5) years experience in the Process design of Waste Water Treatment Plants, with the following attributes:
    • Solid understanding of the principles of waste / effluent water treatment processes and their application; experience in the design of WWTPs. design of process systems for water and wastewater treatment plants, including screening equipment, physical-chemical treatment plants, biological treatment plants, blower equipment, odour control plants, disinfection plants and sludge treatment plants
    • Possess knowledge of wastewater treatment processes such as Activated Sludge, SBR, MBR & MBBR.
    • Experience in wastewater treatment process modeling (BioWin / GPS-X or other wastewater modeling software) and optimization (including biological treatment) will be an added advantage.
  • Knowledge of process related standards
  • Experience in process simulations, surge analysis and hydraulic studies.
  • Working knowledge in the use of process engineering simulation software packages such as HYSYS, PRO/II, PIPESIM, PIPENET, and HTRI; Proficiency in the use of MS-Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
  • Background in multi-disciplinary facility design with project management experience.
  • Proficiency in International Codes like API, TEMA ASTM, NACE. Familiarity with health and safety regulations

Primary functions:    

 

  1. Review tender documentation e.g. contract conditions, technical specifications, Bill of Quantities, and determine requirements to provide effective technical support relating to measurements and/or contractual issues.

Qualification Diploma in Mechanical Engineering – (preferred) Bachelor degree Graduate in Mechanical Engineering.
Personal attributes Solid health, less than 50 years of Age, site-based, & competent Leader
Experience Minimum 15 years experience in the Maintenance and/or Turnaround of the process plants in the oil and gas, petrochemical, Fertilizer plants.

Minimum 5 years experience as Execution Lead / Shift Manager of the large shutdown with manpower of 500 and above

Candidates should have a basic background in Shutdown planning & preparation, through ability in work packs development, selection and allocation of Shutdown supervisors, Site requirements, resource allocation, Subcontractors man-power Management, and ability to handle critical situations.

The candidate must be an excellent Safety and quality leader to set the role model and to get the required quality of work from the project team and the client team.

Must cost control skills & cost conscientious to be able to deliver the timely results at the project site.

  • Should have sound knowledge of:
  • Reading Engineering drawings, and developing MTOs
  • Assessment of  required resources to execute the allocated scope
  • Plant Equipment and Machinery typically used in Shutdowns
  • Brownfield construction activities that include Civil, Structural,
  • piping, Electrical, and Instrumentation.

The candidate will lead the following key functions throughout the assignment:

  • Deep understanding of the scope and the associated critical path;
  • Effective Execution and handover between shifts;
  • Resources selection, recruitment, allocation, performance assessment, and “effective” demobilization;
  • Manage Material control and site stores;
  • Liaise effectively with the HSE and Quality organizations of Qcon and the client;
  • Liaise with the Subcontractors site management, vendors;
  • Communication of progress and expectations internally and externally;
  • Managing additional scope and variations towards meeting client requirements

The candidate must develop reports ranging from progress reports all the way to close-out report that address the execution to be submitted internally to the Shutdown Manager;

The candidate must be able to manage the site logistics requirements to facilitate execution

The candidate must be able to take immediate decisions within the assigned level of authority, and within the framework of the contract with the client

The candidate must enjoy working under pressure, and challenging deadlines while serving long hours for a couple of months.

WAREHOUSE OPERATORS WITH VALID QATARI DRIVING LICENSE
